Many sites and softener suppliers will have various warranty periods showing without fully explaining the terms. i.e. Is this a parts only or a parts and labour warranty, is your area of the country covered by this, is this warranty applicable to you or what do you have to do to qualify for this warranty period? The Purple Turtle warranty offer is as follows When you purchase your softener you immediately get a 24 month parts and labour warranty against manufacturing faults. All service calls are carried out by our own fully trained service technicians. At the end of the 24 month period we will write to you advising that the warranty is coming to an end and offering you the opportunity to have the softener serviced as per our recommendation. We will give you the price of this service and it is up to you to then make a decision as to whether to have this carried out. Should you decide to take up the offer of a service we will as part extend the parts and labour warranty on your softener for a further 24 months. And will continue to do this for up to 8 years from purchase subject to the bi annual service being carried out by ourselves. You review your decision every 24 months and there are no long term contracts.
