Deliveries

For products in stock at the time of purchase, our standard delivery is 3-5 working days from order. Please note that we are not responsible/liable for delays caused by carriers. Express or specific day deliveries can be arranged on request. Customers are advised to provide a mobile telephone number when ordering goods. This contact number can be used by the carrier to communicate with you details of delivery date, time, etc.

If you may be absent from the delivery address when items are delivered, please advise alternative delivery instructions (e.g. leave with a neighbour) when ordering. We will pass this information onto the carrier, although we cannot guarantee these instructions will be adhered to. In the event of goods being delivered in your absence, we cannot take responsibility for goods being lost, stolen or damaged.

As we cannot guarantee items will be delivered within 3 working days, we strongly recommend that customers do not book the services of plumbers, contractors, etc. until you have received, checked and are satisfied with your goods. We cannot expect any liability for costs incurred in booking the services of tradespersons prematurely.

Your ordered items will be checked before leaving our premises to ensure they are correct and in perfect condition. We strongly advise customers to open and check packages upon delivery and notify Purple Turtle immediately in the event of missing or damaged items. Delays in reporting missing items or damage may result in charges for replacement items. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

UK Mainland Salt Deliveries

Water Softener salt deliveries to UK mainland addresses over 100kg are delivered on a pallet by our chosen supplier. Customers will be contacted directly to arrange a date for delivery.

Our pallet carriers endeavour to deliver your salt on a pallet in a safe and accessible place. Please note, after delivery, it will be your responsibility to move or unload the pallet. It is also customers’ responsibility to dispose of wooden pallets after use.

Returns/Refunds

Purple Turtle work hard to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with our products. Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, purchases made online or by phone give consumers the right for a full refund if one is requested in writing within 14 working days of receipt.
